Study Club

Elite Dental Club Mission

Is to offer a high quality, stimulating and comprehensive approach to continuing education. To provide educational opportunities in all aspects of dentistry with concentration on total case management and comprehensive treatment planning. The group will strive to provide its members with a broader perspective and understanding of comprehensive care and to offer support from their peers to be able to incorporate advanced concepts and treatments into their practices. Efforts will be directed towards learning from each other, and the diversity of the group will stimulate education in all facets of treatment planning.

Our Goals

  1. To make everyone in the group better at treatment planning.
  2. To improve the level of dentistry over time.
  3. To provide a source for the state of the art by developing didactic and clinical sessions in dentistry to familiarize participants not only with what is possible but also with what is becoming the most acceptable choice of treatment.
  4. To establish a resource center so that all members can call on each on for advice.
  5. To generate an interest in learning by treatment planning other dentists’ cases and following up on critiquing those cases throughout the treatment.
  6. To improve the members practice by increasing the number and complexity of cases to be restored.

Why Join The Seattle Study Club?

“The Key to the success of the Seattle Study Club network is that it fosters relationships and involves dentists in interactive learning activities. Meetings include lectures but emphasis is placed on clinical treatment planning sessions. I recently attended one of these sessions and I was impressed by the high degree of involvement evident among the members. The format of these sessions varies, but for this particular meeting a number of doctors presented challenging cases that had not been treated. There was a spirited discussion among the group regarding various treatment options.
