We offer three kinds of sedation at North Shore Smile Surgery:
✦ Oral sedation is medication taken prior to your procedure.
✦ Nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) can be administered at the time of your procedure. This may be used on its own or in conjunction with a local anesthetic.
✦ IV sedation is a stronger form of sedation than oral sedation or nitrous oxide.
✦ General anesthesia is also delivered by IV. This is the strongest sedation that we offer.
